Deer Butte Sign Install Day Hike

Deer Butte Sign Install Day Hike - November 4, 2015 - 8:00 am - Bend, OR 97701

This is a FCCW stewardship opportunity to install 1 sign. The good news is that the sign is very near the trail head so we don’t have to hike with the tools. Some people may help carry tools in and out and others actually do sign work. It only takes a team of 3-4 about 45 minutes to install a sign and the rest is hiking time. We have all tools needed. No experience needed. About 7 miles roundtrip and 1000ft elevation gain. This trail system is off Hwy 126 Mckenzie River so 1.5 hr drive. The trail connects into Tenas Lakes and Robinson Lake and is seldom used. It is in the Mt Washington Wilderness. Please bring all of your own hiking gear, work gloves, map and food, water, NW Forest Pass. No dogs please.
